Five buildings damaged

Invena took a glancing blow from a second tornado in two years as an EF3 tornado ripped through town on June 26th. Five Invena buildings were damaged, and several employees were hit as well. As with the previous tornado, Invena employees worked alongside hundreds of volunteers to clean up the town and help displaced families find shelter. Over 1,400 truckloads of trees and debris were hauled away in the first two days of cleanup in what emergency officials described as an “extraordinary” volunteer effort. Governor Colyer, Senator Moran, and other officials toured the area to witness the cleanup. Invena was back online in less than two weeks, but continues to help with the long-term recovery of the hard-hit community.
